About Will

Travel planning help from a real person who has booked the flights, missed the buses, found the weird little shortcuts, and learned how to make trips smoother.

I’m Will: traveler, strategist, photo nerd, language dabbler, and logistics problem-solver. I’ve traveled to around 60 countries across every continent except Antarctica, booked 200+ flights, lived abroad for nearly two years, and planned everything from lightning-fast city hops to long, slow ā€œactually absorb the placeā€ adventures.

I help people build trips that make sense: better routes, better timing, better value, fewer headaches, and more room for the good stuff.

Why I can help...

Real travel reps

I’ve traveled for work and play, solo and with others, fast and slow, safe and off-the-beaten-path. I know the difference between a trip that looks good on paper and one that actually feels good while you’re living it.

Logistics brain

My background in operations, IT, strategy, customer support, property management, wellness, and logistics means I’m good at making messy systems easier to navigate. Travel is basically one giant messy system with nicer sunsets.

Language and culture

I speak solid Spanish, decent Thai, some Japanese, and can usually make sense of Latin-based European languages well enough to get oriented, ask better questions, and avoid obvious tourist confusion.

Practical, not precious

I’ve driven abroad, dealt with airports, border crossings, transfers, scams, delays, weird booking platforms, questionable taxis, and ā€œwait, this was supposed to be easyā€ moments. I plan with real-world friction in mind.

Good with different travel styles

Families, couples, solo travelers, first-timers, nervous travelers, creators, busy people, and curious weirdos are all welcome. I’m good with kids, flexible with different energy levels, and comfortable balancing safety with adventure.

My Travel Philosophy

Sometimes the win is saving $400. Sometimes it’s avoiding a 3 a.m. transfer with kids. Sometimes it’s staying closer to the thing you actually care about. Sometimes it’s skipping the famous attraction because the better day is somewhere smaller, calmer, stranger, or more you.

My job is to help you find the version of the trip that fits your budget, personality, timeline, and tolerance for chaos.

A better trip is not always the cheapest trip.

What Working with Me Feels Like

I’m not here to upsell you into a bloated luxury itinerary or bury you in travel-agent jargon.

I’ll help you compare options, spot red flags, improve the route, think through logistics, and make smarter calls. I’ll tell you when something looks worth it. I’ll tell you when something looks like a trap. And if I don’t think I can meaningfully help, I’ll say that too.

Send me what you’re planning, and I’ll help you find the best next step.
