Trips Worth Remembering
A few favorite journeys, told through photos, music, motion, and the occasional questionable decision.

A handful of big trips, each with its own route, rhythm, and set of surprises.
Nearly a month of cities, trains, ferries, scenic drives, food, and hiking, built from several route options and then planned down to the flights, rail tickets, rental cars, hotels, and connections. Shortly before departure, I added two surprise detours: Svalbard in the Arctic Circle and the Faroe Islands. Ambitious, unusual, and still paced so we could enjoy it.

Africaxtravaganza
Five weeks solo through Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, traveling mostly with two backpacks and a flexible plan. Ancient cities, desert borders, the Nile, safari drives, the Indian Ocean, Victoria Falls, Zambezi rapids, Table Mountain, wine country, and a Cape Town New Year, plus enough strange rides, unexpected friendships, and improvised detours to make the trip far better than the original itinerary.
Okinawa/Japan
Mixed promo vid including Australia, Alaska, Peru, US Southwest, Ireland, and more...

Three weeks in Okinawa training with dojo friends, testing for my fourth-degree black belt, and exploring the islands between sessions, followed by a fast-moving rail trip through mainland Japan with my friend Panda. I helped coordinate much of the Okinawa trip, then planned our route through Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, Hakone, and Tokyo, balancing martial arts, hostels, hot springs, local food, strange nightlife, changing weather, and plenty of spontaneous detours.
